Tried the chicken bulgogi and a Korean appetizer, food was great!! Did not come with as many sides as some Korean places serve, but prices are reasonable. This is a quite small place, with very simple tables , kind of a "hole in the wall". Very friendly, casual environment... There is a TV in the corner. A minor disappointment was that they did not have barley tea. The back of the building is a bar, it was not yet open when I was there, however, the bar is separated from the restaurant by a couple doors so this should not effect one's decision about eating there.

So the best galbi I've had in years is at a hole in the wall in the middle of fecking nowhere. Seriously, the exterior looks semi-dilapidated with sketchy designated parking spots. Once you enter, the casual but bright interior puts you at ease. Not too much has been invested into decor, which is A-OK by me since it typically indicates the focus is in the right place. Bathrooms are tucked to the left through the door to the back room, quite clean. TV mounted in the corner tuned to Food Network. Very mom-and-pop feel... or if I wanna be more accurate, a friendly auntie-and-auntie feel. Late lunch meant for an empty establishment, but that just meant all their love for the business was devoted to our order. Growing up in NoVA, I've become spoiled by an overabundance of banchan wherever I go. A basic 5 cheop offering across 3 dishes kept us occupied during our brief wait. Kongnamul had nice fat seeds. Musaengchae was plain, but I love daikon enough not to mind the absence of any dressing besides vinegar. Oi jee was refreshing, and the oi sobaegi reasonably mild. Standard baechu kimchi was the most disappointing of the banchan, but frankly it was already cut bite-sized enough to disregard the scissors. Jap chae was hefty. Perfectly done glass noodles, with some beef bulgogi and stirfry veg mixed in. Garnished an equal amount of sesame seeds as the star of the meal, this is best eaten fresh and would easily serve 3-4 people. Dinner portion of galbi appears somewhat conservative, but the meat-to-bone ratio is commendable and it was definitely enough for two people. I feel like none of their dishes sound small enough to be filler, though really I'm just extrapolating expected portioning based on prices. Supporting Kat's recommendation for extra onions for those who love to go through the perfect sticky rice, light drippings and caramelized onions balance out the meatfest. I could eat this galbi all day every day. Maybe I can bribe one of the aunties to adopt me! I'm adorbs and people mistake me for Korean as is... what's not to love?

This restaurant has consistently good Korean food! The staff is very friendly also. We won't go anywhere else for Korean food!

They changed their galbi recipe. And it sucks. sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks. I tried 4 more times... and its just a waste of money. I've moved on. Sorry casa de korea. What a bummer. You were my favorite.

I've been to Kim's and Yong's but my wife and I always enjoyed going to Korea House. It's a small place but the food is excellent. We always try different things on the menu and we're never disappointed. Typically, people like to get the bulgogi because they're more familiar with it. My wife like bulgogi and she's never disappointed with the beef or chicken versions. The kalbi (short ribs) are the best in town. They might be short but they come with a lot of meat on the bones and I'm always full. For those that go for the common korean dishes: the yaki mandu is good, the kim bop is mad fresh and the kim chee is excellent! Over all, it's a small place with great people working there and it has never been a disappointment for me the year and a half that I have been going there.

I recently visited for the first time, at the suggestion of another Yelper. I love galbi, and that's what I ordered. I was not disappointed. It came to me piping hot and quicker than I've come to expect (most places say that galbi takes extra time to prepare). I'll return for sure to try some other dishes.

Went tonight and had the spicy pork bulgogi. It was very good. It took a little longer than I expected but it was worth the wait. I was the only one in the restaurant. I ordered it spicy and it had just the right amount of heat I was looking for. It came out sizzling on an iron skillet accompanied with rice, cucumber kimchi, kimchi, sprouts, and sweet and sour radish. They were all very good. I'll go again.

On vacation in FWB, went here based on reviews. The food was awesome, I got the spicy squid, wife had chicken bulgogi, and daughter had the Dolset Bim Bob. All were excellent, spice level was as described. The waitress was very helpful and extremely attentive. It's a small quaint place, nothing fancy, just good food.

In a perfect world, every city will have its own Koreatown full of karaoke clubs and fried chicken (sort of like LA), and we'd all be overstuffed with amazing Korean all you can eat barbecues with unlimited sochu and plum wine. But we don't live in a perfect world. We live in Fort Walton Beach, where there are three mediocre Korean restaurants and Korea House may be the better choice amongst those. Zero atmosphere, don't expect it. Dirty bathroom, so pee before you come. No English, learn the menu before you call and know how to sound it out in Korean. Other than that, the food is okay. My favorite thing to order here is the Jajiang Mien. It's a Northern Chinese dish as well, fried bean sauce noodles? I'd get it to go because eating inside is sort of depressing.

We love coming here. Why?! Well...because. Affordable menu. Authentic. Friendly Service. I always feel spoiled when my family & I eat here. I don't mind the staff speaking Korean to my husband because they'll also speak English to me. The owner is so sweet, the whole staff are. They fuss over us, checking on us often & asking if we want refills of the sides. Yes, it's a lil dated but how can you not love this place? Give them a try:)

We have been coming here for artless six year this time I came with my kids a 3 year old and my one year old daughters well let's just say the service was bad not family friendly food was amazing but the waiter was rude after we payed my husband tiped her well our bill was 45 and we gave her a 15 dollar tip the she walked to the table and insisted I pick up lil droppings of rice from my kids also pushed my daughter for this I will not be back hope the owner see this Friday 22 of May 2015

The beef bulgogi was pretty good, not the best or worst I've had. The portion was smaller than I would expect for the price. An small extra side of rice was $1.95.

Recently moved to FWB and have a huge love of Korean food. I sampled two other Korean places in the area that were just "okay." Korea House is top notch, and by far the best in this area. The atmosphere isn't the best, but who cares when the food is made fresh and is delicious. I shared the spicy beef bulgogi and kimchi soup with my daughter and there wasn't a crumb left to either. My husband had the spicy chicken bulgogi and he polished his off and was fighting us for the beef crumbs. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a taste for Korean.

Ate here for the first time last night. Had the beef bulgogi and it was great. Sampled what my friends were eating and it was also delicious. Everything that came to the table was fresh, you can tell the owner cares about the food. After all, that's what the people come for. If you are looking for great Korean food at reasonable prices, this is it. Give it a try, don't let the location turn you off. I'll definitely be back.
